CLUE:
ON STAGE

SYNOPSIS

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount cult comedy movie starring Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd, which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game CLUEDO, the play Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery.

The tale begins at a remote mansion, Boddy Manor, where an anonymous host has invited six mysterious guests who assemble for an unusual and unforgettable dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects.

Led by Wadsworth the butler, the guests are given aliases including Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard. Though discouraged from revealing personal information, it is soon discovered that all of them have fallen victim to the same blackmailer, Mr Boddy, their very host of the evening. Each is presented with a weapon (dagger, pipe, wrench, revolver, rope and candlestick) and an option: pay their extortionist double or kill the innocent butler. Follow the dinner guests through a madcap, slapstick evening full of murder, mystery, and laughs as they all race to puzzle out the killer amongst criminals as the body count stacks up.

Clue is the ultimate comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches and keep them guessing until the final twist as they try to figure out… WHO did it? WHERE? And with WHAT?
